Art Day Camps
We do our best to offer fun morning activities on days when kids are out of school, and parents still have to work. Summer Holidays, Christmas activities, Easter week, and local teacher in- service days, we plan activities!
Schedule 9 -1:30 p.m.
We have a flexible entrance between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. Kids who arrive at 9:00 will be supplied with books, paper, pencils, markers, or other craft materials to fill the time before everyone else arrives. Scheduled activities begin at 9:30 and run until around 1:00 p.m. At this time, kids finish up and make sure that things are dry, and prepare to be picked up by parents or their caretakers.
Part 1
Normally, on casal days we plan two separate activities or one activity divided into two parts. In the morning, when the energy level is the calmest, we like to plan drawing and more focus-driven craft projects.
Breakfast break
Students must bring their own breakfast and a bottle of water. As many students have allergies and specific dietary needs, we do not provide snacks. We always have fresh water to refill bottles, but we no longer provide cups because of the massive waste it produces. Of course, we make exceptions if someone forgets.
Part 2
Late morning, after breakfast, we begin the second activity, or part two. We try to have everyone around 90% finished before 1:00 p.m., allowing plenty of time to make sure projects are dry, and add details thought of in the last minutes, all before parents and caretakers are scheduled to arrive by 1:30 p.m.
Need an early arrival or late Pick up? No problem.
