Introduction to Drawing & Painting (Ages 8+)
Students will build a strong foundation in drawing and painting by exploring essential art concepts through guided practice and creative projects. Each month focuses on a different core concept—such as line, texture, perspective, value, color, or composition—which students will develop through drawing exercises and skill-building activities.
To reinforce each concept, students will complete one main project using a featured medium such as graphite pencil, charcoal, acrylic paint, wax pastels, India ink, or other traditional art materials. Throughout the course, students will strengthen their technical skills, develop creative confidence, and learn how to apply artistic concepts across a variety of media.
